Giving Opportunities
Thank you for considering making a gift to Stephen F. Austin State University. Below is a list of the many different options available for making a gift to SFA.
Major Gifts
Major Gifts can be made through naming opportunities, scholarships, professorships and much more. You can make a major gift under your name or in honor of a loved one, the gifts live on as a legacy to honor your generosity.
Endowed Gifts are major gifts that create a permanent legacy that will impact generations of SFA students. Endowed gifts ensure long-term success of the university. Contributions can be designated to scholarships, professorships, departmental chairs and much more. Donors may choose to contribute to an existing endowment or create a new one.
Planned Giving can benefit the university while helping you to save taxes, increase your income and pass more on to you heirs. There are multiple opportunities. Annual Fund
Annual Fund is one of the ways that alumni and friends can directly support academic excellence in the college, department or program of their choosing. Annul Fund gifts are 100% donor directed and tax deductible. To read more about the Annual Fund click here.

Varsity Club is the principal fundraising arm of SFA Athletics. The financial contributions made to the Varsity Club help maintain a quality athletic program. It creates educational opportunities for more than 300 talented young men and women who compete while wearing the purple of SFA. For more information about the Varsity Club click here.
