How to Apply for Admission to the Program

Instructions
1. Determine whether you are eligible for the program.
2. Apply for admission to the Graduate School.
3. Apply for admission to the Educator Certification Program.

4. Apply for a Certificate Plan.
  • To do this you must submit to the Educator Certification Office:

After these steps are completed and approved, the Certificate Officer will prepare a Certificate Plan that outlines requirements for initial certification. The plan requires limited additional general education courses, only one teaching field, and a professional education component that includes professional education courses, plus acceptable field experience.
