Reservations
for each of the five summer Freshman Orientation sessions are taken in the
order that they are received. In order to process your reservation, you must
include the $135 fee and any applicable parent/family fees. These fees include lodging on Thursday night (for all students and parent/family members staying on campus), meals served Thursday night for dinner and lunch and breakfast on Friday, publications, staff wages and administrative costs. Please make your check or money order
payable to Stephen F. Austin State University.
Reservations for Freshman Orientation will be available online beginning February 1, 2009. Online reservations are processed through the university's secure server to ensure credit card security.
If you do not wish to submit your reservation online, you may either print the online form or use the reservation card attached to the center of the orientation booklet that you will receive in early February or as soon as you have been accepted to the university. Please mail the form, with payment, to the Orientation Programs office, PO Box 6074, SFA Station, Nacogdoches, TX 75962-3032. If you are experiencing difficulties with the orientation reservation process, please call the Orientation Office at (936) 468-6641.
Reservations must be received no later than noon on the reservations deadline date for the requested session. We will try to honor your session preference; but because of a limit on capacity, you may be assigned your second or third session choice. Please bring your Orientation confirmation and/or Orientation session change with you.
Reservation Deadlines:
A $10 charge will be added to registration fee after the deadline dates
Session 1 (June 4-5) – Friday May 22
Session 2 (June 11-12) – Friday May 29
Session 3 (June18-19) – Friday June 5
Session 4 (July 16-17) – Friday July 3
Session 5 (July 23-24) – Friday July 10
